times are tough, work is long.
but an edit is coming very soon, although i more and more dislike the 'coming soon' drama.
here is proof though.

rip.tv held a 'go film skate day' contest, rules were to go out and film what you did on go skateboarding day, make a clip and post it there. then people vote (or prop) your clip, the most props wins. BRC went to toronto and made stops to kitchener, waterloo, london and chatham along the way back to windsor. which is what we are sending in to rip.tv go there july 3rd and prop our clip....if you like it. i will also post it here around the same time. im sure it will be a crowd pleaser!

Myself, Bruce, Frick, Dick and Murph made it over the border Sunday to shred gnars in the D. Here is the story, We got booted from ghetto hubbas twice. But these people must have skater radar, the residents are quicker than police. Made our way to Eastern Market. Which was completely deserted. Later on Dick gets beef with Wayne State, Dick also robbed a dollar from a hefty black man. We met Kelly in Pontiac at the Anderson rail. I (Bouch) finally got some outdoor footy aswell. I finally figured out my youtube account! I will be periodically posting videos you see here over there. I started a BRC youtube account but ditched it so u may see it somewhere in cyber space with a vid called 'BRC in Toronto', don't mind that, you already saw it, but peep again if you must! Anyway the youtube account I'm going to use is www.youtube.com/ekb8. I will be following Frickey's youtube favorites because he is the lurker of all lurkers, next to Dick.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of skating the basement of a dorm at the U. Rhett, Sizzle and JT all got in on the fun. However, the floor was surely something to get used to. But the fact that this kills being outside and can't be compared to a parking garage makes it worth it. The very best indoor heated, well lit, 40 feet of love a winter in windsor has to offer, on top of that NO BUST FACTOR! And yes, man made objects are welcome.

"Ok so its sunday morning and the plan was for Frick, Dick and myself to go to the city of dreams... DETROIT. Somehow Frickey wakes up round 8:30!! as he said he would and after a lil wait we're off so we get to detroit customs and seen that everyone had to get out of their car n open their trunk for indpections, no biggie just a few boards and a camera..we get the usual hey a video camera do u ever send it to funniest home videosm and the old joke about andys last name, also dick gets the runaround about his fading non birthcertificate...once crossed the boarder we decide to make on last ditch effort to find these ghetto hubbas from the detroit videos...Within 1 minute we finally found them!, thanks jamie for clearing up what side of the road it is. we heard that it was a major bust seeings how its in the projects...so dick and I are ager to get our tricks over with...an hour n a half later n a few bangers we finally get booted by an old lady trying to be mean...next its off to try our luck finding this butter rail called "anderson" in pontiac...I had been there once with Quick and kelley but im terrible with remembering here things are so we just went with our instincts, luckily i seen a fence that i recognized that was broken and hadnt been fixewd since the last time i was there over a month ago...so we find it first try!! but its open so no dice...to get to the ender of why this blog is written, we get back to downtown detroit and decide to skate this flat ledge a bank, so fricks trying a trick n im filming all of a sudden a cop car rolls up n asks us to come over, so we think were gettin the ol' get outa here or we will lock you up. Not this time guys, so the cop tells us to grab the hood and spread our legs, so we do as they say frick got the nice cop that didnt search him, on the other hand dick and I got the asshole who proceeded to search us up one leg then cup our balls and the up the other leg and cup them once again!! finally they let us go with no tickets and just a warning. Oh yeh they diffinately made us go on the front hood so we could all get on their car cam! look for us on the next episode of COPS!"

Today is the day. The day that parking garages, indoor skate parks and empty warehouses (if you are lucky enough to find one) become the public spheres of skateboarding.
This falling of snow indicates one more thing...Bench-Off Round 2.
As a re-cap for those of you that are unaware of The Bench-Off,it started on the windsoright MB. Bruce and I claimed that staples had the best benches to skate while Dustin and Jesse claimed that mall benches were the place to be.
From that The Bench-Off was arranged. It was Bruce and myself vs. Dustin and Jesse. The original idea was to go to each spot and the teams were to do as many tricks on the benches as possible in a 30min period. Who ever did the most tricks at both spots won the bragging rights to say there benches were better.
Well, much to our disbelief, it started to rain, which moved the game to the parking garage on Eugenie and Oullette. James brought his replica staples bench and the game was to begin. But before the game could begin the idea of having a point scheme for the tricks was set into place. For example points were given for every trick done, but extra points if you tricked into or out of. Get it? So it was on. BR vs. B-Unit.
The Bench-Off ended up being close, with B-Unit taking it 117-110 (I believe the score was)
So I am putting it out there......BENCH-OFF ROUND 2....
The place: Parking garage located on the corner of Eugenie and Oullette.
The bench: I'm sure we can find at least one person that has a staples bench or two. The date: Still has to be determined.(Bruce, Jesse and Dustin we need to holler on this.)
Media is welcome, snappin photos and copin footy would be great for such an occasion.

Well, we're back, and just like I promised there are photos and a clip of some stuff that went down while in Toronto. Although this weekends forecast wasn't exactly what we had hoped for, footy was captured and fun was had on and off the streets. Upon our arrival Thursday night, we did major lurkage for spots to skate during our time there. Due to the muggy, moist weather on Friday, we stuck to the PATH, Lansdowne and tried to hit up as many parking garages as possible. As for Saturday, the weather was much better, streets were dry and the sun came out maybe twice.

BRC is heading to Toronto this weekend for some pre-snow fall footy gathering. Only not traveling together. Myself, Frick, Dick and Genie are going up Thursday afternoon, while Bruce will be meeting up with us Saturday afternoon with Quick, B-rad, Dallas and Jamie (as far as I know). Hopefully hitting all the spots on the list before Jack Frost comes and fucks shit up.
So when we return, be assured I'll have clips and phots for yall to monger.
Big up's to Kyle for hooking us up in a huge way and letting us crash at his place for at least Thursday and Friday night. Unfortunatly for us, Kyle will be going to where we came from for his mothers birthday (Slayer Bitch! Yall know!) As for Saturday night, it may be a cold night in the car. So untill Sunday, peace.

Yo, it's Bouch!

The Belle River video "Betta' Recognize" featuring parts from Bruce Lemire, Andrew Frickey, Ryan Dixon and myself, premiered at the I.O.S.S Am Jam this past Sunday. I feel it was a success! Many attended and fun was had. Props also to the finalists and all participants in the Am Jam. I snapped a couple phots throughout the day. Enjoy!
